Peanut Butter castle
It was a wet summer day and the rain kept pouring and pouring. Jack glared out the window, wishing for the rain to cease so he could go out and play. The rain never stopped and Jack lost hope. He thought of what he could do instead, but what was there to do for a 6 year old boy in a boring old house. As he sat there, an idea came to him; he leaped off the couch and hurried upstairs to his room. Jack began to build a fort in his room. This was no ordinary fort though; it was a peanut butter castle, and Jack just so happened to be the king of it. It was a huge castle made from peanut butter and bread. It sat atop a huge hill made of grape jelly, the vibrant color of the purple jelly stretched along for miles across Jacks kingdom. Nobody even thought of messing with Jack, for he was feared throughout the entire kingdom. One day though, Jack was sitting in the tower high atop his castle. A figure appeared from far away and seemed to get bigger and bigger as the seconds passed. A giant dog approached, and Jack began to panic. The dog looked hungry and was sprinting at the castle. Jack ducked down in his tower but it didn’t help, the dog was just as tall as the tower and began to lick walls covered in sweet gooey peanut butter. Then the dog began to take big bites off the castle walls and Jack was helpless but to watch his kingdom be eaten up. Jack fell to the soft jelly ground with a sad look on his face. The dog approached Jack, stuck out his big slobbery tongue licked his face and continued onward. Just then jack heard his mom calling his name. Jack looked at his clock, it was almost noon, the sun was out and there was no need for a fort in his room. He ran down stairs to the kitchen table and what do you know? A peanut butter and jelly sandwich sat waiting to be eaten up, and this time it wasn’t going to be eaten by a hungry pup.
